Lacey Wolfe always presents realistic characters in realistic environments. This one was no exception. Olivia is a single mother of two adorable girls, whose long-term live-in boyfriend decided life was too stressful. So he left, with her holding the bag. I'll admit that he did show some compassion for the children, but I don't like the way he tried dictating to Olivia how she should live her life. He even put terms and conditions on his financial support.When we first meet Olivia, she's walking around her very messy house because taking care of two small children took her time away from housekeeping.
In walks Jamie, the super-hot, super-sexy manny the agency sent to watch Olivia's girls. The chemistry is instantaneous and combustible, but not so unbelievable that it was over the top. The best part? It was mutual!
I loved these two people, because they are real. You could see them at your local park on any given day. Two ordinary people going about their day-to-day, finding the extraordinary in each other. And that, my friends, is what love is all about.
My only question revolves around Emily. Olivia mentioned that Eric left because they found out something about her youngest daughter, but doesn't go on to say what. I wasn't sure what to expect, so it could be anything from ADD to an autoimmune disorder. Yet Emily seems to be a happy, well-adjusted six-month-old with nothing wrong with her.
However, that didn't detract from the story, and I loved every moment with these two amazing people. Thank you again, Lacey, for taking us on one helluva ride.

Great book
....
I really enjoyed this story! Olivia's boyfriend left her and she had to go back to work and find child care for her two girls. She interviewed Jamie and the girls loved the new manny. Jamie was such a great guy and really supported Olivia and showed her she could be strong and not care what other people think. This is a great story and I am so glad that I read it.
This story is great! It is fun and sexy! I loved the honesty of the characters and the way they all interacted with one another. It was as if Lacey Wolfe had recorded my life when I was going through my divorce. I laughed a lot because I knew what the characters were going through. Although I didn't have a many....Guessing I would have been in bigger trouble then I was already....hahaha! The story flows very well and is easy to follow. This is a fun book to relax with after a long day of being pulled in a thousand directions! Lacey Wolfe is a talented writer and I love her style and work!
